It is absolutely a double standard. Both should be considered “art.” It’s called free speech. Muslims need to get over their own complexes. Christians need to get over theirs.

Who’s saying you can’t desecrate a religious book? It is covered by the 1st amendment, does not matter what the book is, it is completely legal. This is nothing more than “we’re the victim” propaganda by the powerful and wealthy christian right.

None of you understand this, its not about hate at all, its about our society’s stupidity. It’s about double standards.

You put a holy bible in a toilet in a museum, its symbolic of the decline of religion. (what it really does symbolize)

You put a Koran(muslim bible) in a toilet in a museum, people will say that the artist is disrespecting muslims and its racism, lets burn him at the stake. (people just give into the society “no”s)

Since the bible is the majority its okay to say its declining, but to say that the koran(minority) is declining is racism. So this piece is saying how people are not equalising they are reversing. instead of hurting minority’s they are fostering them and telling the majority to piss off. All because they are afraid to say no to a minority cause its a “hate crime”
