Wanted: an evolutionist’s reply to this!

[…] Car Paint Job; to see this, check out On Evolution. The driver of this car must be proudly proclaiming that he/she is better informed than ANY of the […]
It’s not exactly a reply, but I wrote an article about this car on my blog. You can read it here:
It looks like my URL got chopped. I guess it’s a spam filter. Anyway, try typing “flickr” into the search box on my blog. There’s no point in refuting this car logically, so I just make fun of it.

really cool:)
A hungarian creationist
Cool!?
Insane – more like it!
How can one say that evolution is a fairy-tale for grown ups, when the bible is nothing more than an ancient story book that includes all sorts of supernatural and fictitious happenings??
Only one completely void of any scientific knowledge… Maybe not even scientific knowledge, but void of logic altogether.
You creationists are living a fairy tale, and not to mention you are all grown ups with imaginary friends!
As for the fossils saying “NO!”… What does any average creationist know about fossils? What do they know about anything, in general?
We know that carbon dating is mostly inaccurate, and that Darwin himself while trying to prove his theory of natural selection admitted the source of the initial creatures needed to start this process couldn’t be explained within the idea of evolution.
We also know that in nature, we see organisms go from complicated matter to uncomplicated. For example: Trees (complicated matter) over time rot (uncomplicated matter), metal over time rusts, rock erodes. Nothing in this universe supports the idea of uncomplicated matter coming together to form complicated matter, or that something will form out of nothing, like the big bang theory.
That’s funny! Why do they throw out thousnads of pieces of evidence and base their views on an outdated 2000 year old book
The URL below has an answer to the car:
Fairy tale for grown-ups… yeah because religion is just sooo scientific.
Since when is the side with all the evidence a fairy tale? Oh yeah, that’s right… since 1776. Seperation of chruch and state… hah! Now that’s a fairy tale…
I love how it’s also a Ford. Stupid American cars…
Cabosan, you’re being an idiot.
Carbon dating IS inaccurate, but isn’t usually used to date fossils. Instead other methods such as Xenon dating are used.
Evolution is true regardless of how life came about. Saying it’s a problem that evolution doesn’t deal with the origins of self replicators is like saying that gravity can’t be real because the theory of gravity doesn’t explain the origins of the universe.
Things DO rot, but also, occasionally, under the right conditions, matter comes together and becomes more complex. If you put energy in then order can easily be created. We know that earthquakes can cause gold to leach out of rocks into ordered structures, we know that condensing and freezing water releases energy and complex ice crystals form, and we know that under pressure and heating single molecules can become polymers such as polythene. Why is it so impossible for energy from the sun, geothermal energy, or radiation to contribute to the formation of life?
Nothing shows that nothing can’t become something else as we have no nothing to study. The closest thing we can get to nothing (a vacuum) DOES produce tiny amounts of matter, which is why we cannot produce a perfect vacuum.
