Pics of the Creation Museum Wednesday, June 20, 2007

If you ever wondered what the new $US27 million dollar Creation Museum looks like inside, then check this out – apparently a couple of young atheists have visited the museum and took quite a number of photos.

You can’t help but notice the number of biblical references in the museum. I know I am stating the obvious here – the museum is simply a plain Christian advertisement without any scientific credentials. And what’s more disturbing is that the number of kids there were – even one child is one too many.

Post the photos, spread the words so that less people go there.

Here are some samples from the photo album.

I’ve heard this called the “moron magnet”. 😉

Been there. In fact, when I got into a big evolution vs. creationisim debate with my mom, she said to me “Did you learn nothing from the Creationism Museum?”

My response: “No. I was too busy laughing my ass off.”

“Unlabelled rocks?”

Yes, but aren’t they ever so pretty and complicated too? Shows that a mysterious intelligent designer is behind it all. I’m convinced just by the photos you’ve presented!

It’s funny how zealously people of both camps defend their position. However, what I notice most of all is the venom with which evolutionists attack creationists. Both groups defend their arguments with religious zeal, but what most of the general population believes as evolution is not actually a complete theory. Both rely upon some unknown creation event: one started by God, one started by an unknown explosion or force. The true argument lies in the origins and each group must believe their origin by faith. We truly don’t have the science to support claiming that everything started with a big bang. Also, the question of the origin of life has never been adequately answered by the scientific community…
